THE MARATHON VERT PROMOTES THE VALUES OF SOLIDARITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ITS ECOLOGICAL COMMITMENT.

 

Born of the meeting between Daniel Jeulin, founder of the Marathon Vert, and Jacques Rocher of the Yves Rocher - Institut de France foundation, this environmental ambition is reflected in the association of the race with tree planting.

 

In 2026, we are continuing our commitment alongside the Yves Rocher Foundation, which works to plant trees around the world. To ensure the longevity of this wonderful initiative, we are adjusting our pledge to 2 km run = 1 tree planted.

In 14 years, Marathon Vert participants have planted 1,734,739 trees in Germany, India, Portugal and France.
