Ouest France Relay Marathon

42.195KM: A COLLECTIVE CHALLENGE!

Join us on Sunday 26 October 2025 on the Mail François Mitterand in Rennes for the start of the Ouest France Relay Marathon! 

 

Are you a company, an association, a group of students or a group of friends? Would you like to run a race together? The Marathon Relais Ouest-France is available as a Corporate Challenge, Student Challenge and Open Challenge. The 42.195km are shared by 4 relay runners, each covering 7 to 13km of a 100% urban course in Brittany's capital. The relay points are located close to metro stations on lines A and B to eliminate the need for cars on the route. The 4 runners will join up for the last kilometre at République to cross the finish line together.

 

 

42 KM RUN AT YOUR OWN PACE = 21 TREES PLANTED!

 

With all the races of the Marathon Vert Rennes Groupe Interaction, we run for the planet! For every 2 km covered, whether walking or running, 1 tree will be planted with the Yves Rocher Foundation. Thanks to your participation in the Marathon Relais Ouest-France race, your relay will total 21 trees planted. 🌿🏃‍♂️

 

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE RACE

• Teams of 4 relay runners
• 100% urban course
• Very fast course over 2 loops
• No cars, relay by metro or on foot
• A number belt will be the baton
• Bib with time chip
• Restrooms are available in the start area, finish area, at all refreshment stands and relay points.
• Showers are available at the finish area.
• You must provide a certificate (paper, electronic or QR Code type) indicating that the person has completed the Health Prevention Course (or ‘PPS’) set up by the FFA via its dedicated platform, the conditions of use of which will also be established by the FFA: https://pps.athle.fr/. To be valid, the PPS must have been completed no more than three months before the date of the event for which the person wishes to register.
• The event is open to runners with a FFA Competition licence, Pass Runing and non-licensed runners born in 2011 or earlier.

 

THE START AIRLOCKS

 

Duos and relays will start in the same airlocks as the marathon runners. You will have to choose your theairlock according to the pace of the first duet or relay runner. The first 3 airlocks are reserved for marathon runners.
Access for relays and duos starts at airlock 3h00.

 

 

LUGGAGE DESK

 

A locker system will allow you to collect your team bag at the finish!

• drop-off times: from 8.15 a.m.

• Runner 4: 11.595 km / Place Saint-Germain > Place de la République (including 1 km together)
• 4 runners together: 1km / Place de la République > Esplanade Charles de Gaulle
